The Hunterdon Health & Wellness Centers offer massage therapy, including prenatal and specialty massages, for members and non-members at Clinton and Whitehouse Station. Massages are available in 30, 60 and 90-minute sessions.  Packages are also available for purchase.

Alison graduated at the top of her class in 2001 from Somerset School of Massage Therapy where she gained her foundations in Human Anatomy and Physiology, Deep Tissue Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, and Therapeutic Swedish Massage techniques. Directly following graduation, Alison immediately employed her skills within various settings locally, originally choosing to work beside a Chiropractic D.O. treating patients. Alison has also developed medical massage and spa menus, has been an active volunteer for the New York City Marathon for pre-event sports massage, and has remained practicing in both clinical and spa environments for the last 20 years.

Alison remains faithfully committed to her clients’ wellness and continues to educate herself in the healing arts. Since graduating, she has received attunement in both Reiki levels I & II, has trained to practice manual lymph drainage of the face using cold stone facial massage, and remains an active member of the AMTA since 2001.

Alison has been an employee of the Hunterdon Health & Wellness Center for the last four years concentrating on the wellness and fitness of our patrons in the Aquatics Department as a Fitness Instructor for Deep Water Aerobics, and the Master Swim programs.

Alex began practicing Massage Therapy in 1988 after completing his degree of Medical Massage Therapist from Kiev Nursing School, Ukraine.  Upon arriving in the United States, Alex also went on to complete his nursing degree and became licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).  Additionally, he holds the Master Level certification in Reiki Energy Healing.

Alex specializes in Therapeutic, Medical, and Sports Massage, basing his techniques on Russian Medical Massage.  He combines aspects of the Russian Medical and Sports modalities with Deep Tissue, Swedish, Neuromuscular, and Trigger Point Therapy. His years of experience include working in conjunction with Physicians, Physical Therapists, and Chiropractors, as well as providing massage therapy in rehabilitation programs at hospitals, and working with professional athletes.

You can call Sharon many things…a professional dancer, a teaching artist, a pilates practitioner, a Zero Balancer, and a Massage Therapist. Sharon is a compassionate human being who is fascinated with the moving body.  She has been immersed in the world of movement as a professional dance artist, educator, and bodyworker for over 20 years and is in love with the limitless exploration that is possible with the human form.

Sharon’s approach to bodywork is centered around science-based clinical assessment and the role the nervous system plays in all aspects of movement and manual therapies.  She integrates all of her talents to address your specific goals and concerns.  Sharon will work with you to alleviate aches and pain, release restrictions of movement, ease physical and emotional distress, and find tools that you can use to support your health and well-being. Sharon will be taking clients Monday afternoon/evenings in Clinton and Wednesday afternoons in Whitehouse starting Wednesday, 9/8.
